Parents and Two Children

Child Dedication Sunday

Psalm Thirty Seven Scripture

Sunday, May 12

We will be holding a baby dedication service on Sunday, May 12th. During the dedication service, Hillside’s elders will pray over each child individually; and parents promise before God, their family, and the church to raise their child in a God-honoring way. As your church family, we are here to partner with you as the body of Christ and support you as a family. Please submit a digital picture of your child and a Scripture to be shared during the service to the church office to slusk@hillsidecma.org by May 9 if you plan on participating.

OWLS Retreat

Tuesday, May 21st through Thursday, May 23rd

Join the OWLS for a spiritual and fun filled retreat at Higher Ground in West Harrison, IN. The retreat starts with lunch on Tuesday, May 21st and ends on Thursday, May 23rd with a worship service after breakfast.

Dr. Matthew Lewis, former pastor, author, and college professor will pose questions such as “what is God doing in my life,” or “what season of life am I in”, etc.? Other activities include games, bonfire, snacks, hiking the beautiful grounds, and visiting together. Costs cover speaker sessions, six home cooked meals, and lodging for two nights.

Cost: $260 for a couple or two people sharing a room. A room for a single person is $194. For “day trippers,” the cost is $10/day and $11/meal. Pick up your registration form at the “sign up table” in the church lobby or from the commons. Registration deadline is May 12th. If you need a ride in the church van, please contact Diane Warden.

moving God’s kingdom forward in our community.
